In the fiction world, most villains would have a backstory. I'll choose Voldemort from Harry Potter as an example. His parents, their relationship was fake. A witch marrying a muggle under the effect of a love potion. Result? Deadly villain.
Then in real life, there have many criminals where their father is absent. Also, unfortunately, divorce and single parenting is rising for the 21st century somewhat. Maybe it is the side effect of "choice" or "it's my life" or "freedom of speech" or growing out of traditions. Either way, marriage failures have a psychological effect on children and teenagers. Well, that is my observation. Some may lack a moral compass and end up as criminals later on. Some may be depressed. Some may be angry at the world.
The 21st century is turning marriage into a joke. You may not think it is serious but it will be for the next generation: the youth. Sure, some adolescents can survive with one parent but they shouldn't have to survive in the first place. Parents are important factors for raising healthy adolescents life, emotionally and psychologically.
So please. Take marriage seriously. A marriage without love can ruin adolescents. Don't fall into peer pressure to get married. Don't marry that guy because he is rich. Don't abuse marriage for selfish deeds.
I HATE THOSE DREADED SMELLY THINGS.
My mum tried to feed me with salad coated with an appalling dressing of sticky onions.
I HATE ONIONS.
I FEEL TROLLED WHEN MY MUM KEEPS FLAVORING HER COOKING WITH ONIONS. THAT IS ALL SHE CAN DO. T_T
They make my breath smell. It makes my mouth feel sticky.
Choose my friends over going with my dad to the cinemas. Now I regret that. I was told of this opportunity spontaneously while I was playing Combat Arms. I let my desire to play pointless games affect my decisions now I'll have to deal with negative feelings. My mates were planning a late night walk so I took a nap till I got woke up that it was canceled. So I did not do anything all yesterday.
I could have gone with my dad to watch movies. My sister went with him instead and praised how great the customer service was. Free ice cream, water, and popcorn. Chinese migrating to Japan seem like an interesting subject to watch.
Sigh. Now there's nothing I could do about it now. I'll just have to accept what happen and let it all go...
Next time, when given an opportunity, I be asked with two questions: Right now, what I am doing, can this be done later? If I didn't take this opportunity, would I regret it?
