So this hour, I'm considering creating a new username. I always used the username Cooltoonist because it is unique and usually available for use when I sign up for accounts on websites. I like to create an internet identity however I'm also considering importance of anonymousity because 4chan is really good at getting dox scarily good at getting dox. o__o
Wordpress is hectic. I remember when it became a trend in the anime graphics website community, everyone running over to use this new script. I find it rigid and stubborn. D:< doesn't work in index.php for templates. WTF.
Plus, the intention is to simply post updates of the website so I won't be needing most of these random plugins and fancy interface of newsposting. So I'm going back to Cutenews.
The true essence of the meme is the contagiousness. Without contagiousness, it would not be a meme in the first place.
Factors for contagiousness:
- Simplicity: How easy it is to spread. Phrases like O RLY? are examples of how simple it is to practice an internet meme.
- Stupidity: How stupid the meme is. A moderate amount of stupidity can make the meme attention seeking. Chris Crocker's LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!!! is an example.
