In the fiction world, most villains would have a backstory. I'll choose Voldemort from Harry Potter as an example. His parents, their relationship was fake. A witch marrying a muggle under the effect of a love potion. Result? Deadly villain.
Then in real life, there have many criminals where their father is absent. Also, unfortunately, divorce and single parenting is rising for the 21st century somewhat. Maybe it is the side effect of "choice" or "it's my life" or "freedom of speech" or growing out of traditions. Either way, marriage failures have a psychological effect on children and teenagers. Well, that is my observation. Some may lack a moral compass and end up as criminals later on. Some may be depressed. Some may be angry at the world.
The 21st century is turning marriage into a joke. You may not think it is serious but it will be for the next generation: the youth. Sure, some adolescents can survive with one parent but they shouldn't have to survive in the first place. Parents are important factors for raising healthy adolescents life, emotionally and psychologically.
So please. Take marriage seriously. A marriage without love can ruin adolescents. Don't fall into peer pressure to get married. Don't marry that guy because he is rich. Don't abuse marriage for selfish deeds.
